Your meals and will be prepared by your host Wendy who has many years experience growing her own fruit and vegetables and cooking for friends and family.
We follow a vegetarian meal plan and we can cater for most dietary needs. Meals are healthy and cooked from scratch. Vegetables and fruit are homegrown or locally sourced. We have many fruit trees including apple, fig, walnut, cherry, hazelnut, apricot, pear, plum, lemon and lime and we have soft fruits, blackcurrant, blackberry, and gooseberry.
We can provide a variety of wines from many of our local vineyards. We will be guided by your retreat group leader as some teachers say just one glass with a meal and others say none. Meals times are also planned around your weekly itinerary, set by your group leader.
There will be fruit, hot and cold drinks available throughout the day, some special coffees at a cost and always homemade afternoon cake for those who like in indulge.
